Stay Healthy

A Healthier You Day 21

Staying Healthy Is Not a One-Off Event. Make It a Part of You.

Good job!!

You’ve stayed on track from day one. You’re so amazing!!

But.

Staying healthy does not occur overnight and should never be something you hope to achieve only for a season. It should be a life-long state of being. You must always make a deliberate effort to keep your body in perfect shape. Trust me, while the tips I shared in the past 20 days are only a fraction of the things you ought to pay attention to, they work a great deal.

But do you feel these tips are difficult (and maybe costly) to adhere to?

Well, I need you to weigh what it would cost you to practice healthy habits against the price you may end up paying for doing otherwise. Moreover, have you considered how much impact unhealthy habits can have on your ability to fulfill your purpose, dreams, and desires? And would you rather be on the lookout for the most effective cure for a habit-induced health condition?

But hey, you know I always bear good news.

Tips to Help You Keep Up Healthy Habits

If you’ve been accustomed to unhealthy habits, the following tips will help you start to pay attention to your health:

  1. Pay more attention to your pantry so you won’t have to worry about your medicine cabinet.
  2. In your journal, write down why you need to stay healthy. For example, you can say, “I want your body to be healthy enough to fulfill God’s plan for my life.” You can also write, “I want to be healthy enough to be there for those I love.”
  3. Whenever you find yourself going off track, go back to your journal.
  4. You can also place your reasons for staying healthy in front of your refrigerator or behind your phone. That should be a reminder whenever you want to purchase unhealthy foods or indulge in unhealthy habits.
  5. Have an accountability partner to help you stay on track.
  6. Food journaling is also a good way to keep an eye on what you eat, so you’ll know when you start joking with your health.
  7. Reserve a portion of your monthly budget to stock up on healthy foods, fruits, and vegetables.
  8. Come back here as often as possible.

Cheers to a healthier you!!
